Self-care as a whole

Self-care as a whole

Self-care is the intentional stuff you do to look after your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.

Real self-care is about meeting your needs, not escaping your life.

What self-care actually looks like: Physical Eating regularly, nourishing your body Moving your body in a way that feels good Sleeping enough Going to appointments, resting when you’re run-down.

Learning when to say no.
Doing things that focus your mind or give you a break.
Planning and booking appointment the help you feel less stressed.

Self-care is not selfish.

A great selfcare suggestion is a beautiful facial and scalp massage.

Physical benefits of a face massage Boosts blood flow → healthier glow Encourages lymphatic drainage → reduces puffiness and congestion Relaxes facial muscles → softens tension lines (jaw, forehead, brows) Helps skincare absorb better Can ease jaw clenching and facial tightness.

Mental & emotional benefits:
Calms the nervous system (especially when slow and rhythmic) Reduces stress held in the face and jaw Creates a moment of stillness and grounding

Physical benefits of a scalp massage:
Improves circulation to the scalp (supports hair health) Relieves headaches and eye strain Loosens tight scalp muscles (huge if you carry stress up top) Can reduce neck and shoulder tension.

Mental & emotional benefits:
Deeply calming for the nervous system Lowers cortisol (stress hormone) Improves mood and mental clarity Can help with sleep and anxiety.
